Looking for a different way to serve your oysters? These Bloody Mary Oyster Shots are a fun aperitif to serve your guests at a party, and they pack a flavour punch to boot. The vodka-laced tomato juice is an ideal partner to the sweet and salty oyster.
- Mix together the tomato juice, vodka, lemon juice, Tabasco, Worchestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
- Divide the oysters between twelve 30 ml shot glasses.
- Pour the tomato mixture over the top of each oyster to fill the shot glasses, then garnish with a wedge of lime.
- Clink, and drink/eat!
(If you want to be fancier, dip the rims of your shot glasses in a salt & pepper mix before putting the oysters into them.)
